Walman, Edvinsson, Chiarot, Maata, Wallinder, Johansson.

That is the list of LHD for next season. Why would Detroit pay 2x2nds and a 3rd for another one?

    Left defense is extremely weak

    Way too much for Schneider

Just buy goodrow out and save assets

Woah, I totally screwed up which side half those guys played. Yeah, so swap that trade with a team who would actually need a LD lmao

Schneider is getting paid now because he will replace Trouba once Trouba’s contract expires. LD is a bit weak, but its something we could upgrade at the deadline.

If you’re gonna give him $4m, then it’s a long term deal lol not 3 years

Also kakko’s 1 year deal will be his QO of $2.4m

    Brodzinski >>>> Rempe and Edstrom

Yeah I massively overpaid Kakko here, realized that as I was finishing but couldn’t be bothered to go fix it. I don’t think Schneider takes anything longer than MAYBE 4 years at 4 mil, and I want to minimize the cost for him while also giving us a year past Trouba’s expiration to see how he does in an elevated role. Edstrom and Rempe are just too tantalizing of a pair for me to not put them together, and would rather have vesey in than brodz

Schneider should be bridged at 2 years $2m. It leads to the end of Trouba’s contract and they can give him a long term contract then

Edstrom and Rempe don’t do anything except hit and forecheck lol the rangers need depth scoring. Edstrom is fine, but Rempe definitely should not be playing over brodzinski ever

All of that for Buch? What a terrible trade.
Second, Goodrow is getting bought out. What a waste of draft picks that were already short on.
If your plan is to trade Lindgren, then you should be making a trade for Hanifin at the deadline.
What has Kakko done to earn 3.5m? Hes barely earning his pay now. 2.64m is his qualifying offer, cant offer him a cent more than that.
    4m for Schneider? Wow.
Oh and a trade for Lundell thats absolutely laughable. Whats the piece of value heading to Florida?

This is a masterclass is bad trades and bad asset management

As a blues fan don't think buch will get essentially 3 first round picks. However I think we will target defensive prospects over winger ones

    Yeah this ain't it.

You can honestly get close with Buch for Lindgren as a framework.

Goodrow being bought out actually makes the team money. No need to trade away with a sweetener.

Lundell has been very bad since his rookie year. Beyond being a bad target, the price is way off.

Overall, you're better off deleting this rather than trying to tweak it.

I don't believe Florida will want to move Lundell

The Buch trade is envisioned as a deadline deal this year, and from everything insiders are saying, that is what it will take to make it happen. A Goodrow buyout causes a deficit in the 2025 offseason, which is unacceptable IMO with the contracts we will need to sign (Laf, Igor, Cuylle, and Miller). Lundell is an insanely talented young player who just needs a change of scenery to explode.

Yeah I have no idea what you're talking about with Goodrow... Check your calculations bud.

Also by your Kakko barometer, the Rangers should be asking for a 1st for Jones. And more than that for Kakko.

Can't think of a better scenery than Florida for playing well.

AZ should be hot after Lindgren if he's available.

Lindgren and Roobroeck for Zucker with retention, Dermott, and a second and third.

No you can’t get close for Buch with Lindgren as the framework
