Tkachuk would be perfect in Van’s top 6, however I don’t think there’s any reason to believe that Ottawa would look to move him right now. An if they did it would be a huge mistake for them.

I don't blame Ottawa for asking about him but I think he's the one untouchable piece for the Canucks in this situation. High-end RD prospects are just not available for trade.
