Four Hanifin Offers

Created by: NHLfan10506
Team: 2023-24 Calgary Flames
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 27, 2024

Only four teams here. It is believed Hanifin would extend with four teams (not sure if its 'only these four'...or 'including these four').

Julian McKenzie and Corey Pronman offer mock trades for each team. They used Hampus Lindholm as a trade comp (but seemed to have forgotten the $8m Anaheim had to eat in that deal).

"The Devils are in a position to make the most appealing offer"

(If these are the offers, I'd say, "goodnight and good luck" to BOS and FLA)

Once Swayman arrives from Beantown, we can ship Vitek up to Alberta to mentor the young Wolf pup.

Nico would look good in a Boston uniform, because you ain’t getting him for Mercer smile

They have a bunch of money coming off the books for 2025 and if he’ll extend there, he’d be a good replacement for Ryan Suter. Moving Suter to CGY isn’t an option, but moving Faksa and/or Dadonov to get it done might work to get it done

This said, Hanifin to DAL is pretty unlikely, Tanev definitely makes more sense for them

I struggle with all these deals. I don’t see Dallas doing the deal for the reasons outlined, The NJ deal would be my expectation for Hanifin and Markstrom.

I expect Calgary to get a good package for Hanifin. I don’t see it being Boston unless they are parting with Ullmark to get draft assets to ship Calgary’s way

Daws will look good in Boston

Also that 8-year Brendan Smith sign-and-trade will be worth it someday.

Would you trade 25-year old Patrice Bergeron for a goalie?

Daws for Swayman…it’s like Rask for Raycroft 2.0

I’m not trading a great young goaltender for anything on the Devils roster that you’d agree too

        Daws is no Rask.
