We would need to add a first to that Larsson deal. Larsson would have ALOT of value. I also would love to keep Robertson.

Doubt Torp moves like that. Maybe as a complimentary piece in a bigger trade, but they love the kid.

Robertson's inclusion was to supplement the use of our first (plus the other 3rd) based solely on the reports that Treliving wants to keep our 1st. The fact the Leafs are so adamant on keeping the 1st tells me Wes Clark found someone he really likes.

Robertson is a guy I'd like to keep, but the isn't used properly here and a team like Seattle would get a lot out of him. I'd be willing to trade the 1st instead of Robertson, but it doesn't seem like that's the plan at the moment

That Kraken trade is pretty one sided

We have presumably 4 picks ahead of that and a pretty abundant prospect pool. I just don't see a reason for them trading a guy who is young, doing well, and signed for another year for mid round picks. I don't see him having much more value than that, but this just puts us in a cycle of filtering guys in and out hoping they can do what Toropchenko is doing while our issues lie with guys higher up in the lineup and in other areas.

Robertson's a quality secondary piece, but I don't think he has the trade value to the point where him plus a third round pick in 2025/26 equals a first round pick. In my mind it would hypothetically take something like Niemelä, Robertson, and first and third round picks to get the Kraken to seriously listen.

I will say that the odds of Larsson being dealt anytime soon are basically zero, it's been reported Seattle isn't open to moving him and from my POV there are just too many reasons for them to keep him and not enough for them to trade him.

I don't think Seattle even considers that. Supposedly Seattle aren't keen on moving him at all and if they were it likely takes more than that.
