Description
This is the best scenario possible to the Pens try the 3peat, in my opinion. I don't think it'll happen, but I'd love to see it!!!

good value, might need to make it 2 firsts, but pretty close - not a fan of moving leon yet!

I honestly think that Pittsburgh is one of the few teams that could probably afford to offer sheet Draisaitl. Their window is still wide open and first round picks in the 20-30 range every year aren't going to help a whole lot in regards to winning another Stanley Cup in the near future. They have one of the strongest cores in the league already and adding Draisaitl would just bolster it even more. They could possibly recoup one of the lost first rounders in a Phil Kessel trade. I see a fit for Kessel in Dallas (need a top nine scorer still), LA (need speed and skill), and possibly Edmonton (someone needs to at least come close to Draisaitl's production as his replacement).

I don't think so. A 1st and a conditional 3rd in my terms it'd be fair enough. It's not just about Kessel's value. Ian Cole has a very good value as well. He break Pens record for block shots in a regular season. He's very good in PK either and is a solid d-man. So, I'll keep my terms in this trade.

But thank you anyway for your feedback.

That's exactly what I think. Besides, trade for Draisaitl is not just to think about the present. It's to think about the future as well, cause he's too young and can be the new franchise player after Sid and Malkin's era.

I like the idea. The only issue I see is only having around $7.5M to resign Sprong, Rust, Wilson, Rowney, a backup goalie, and two more roster players. They would eventually find themselves in cap hell.

No problem at all. I'd trade Sheary or Rust after next season. Depends of which one deserves to remain on the team. Besides, we don't know yet what will be the salary cap in the season 18/19. But trade one of them could be a possibility to solve the cap issue.
