Canes don’t consider either of those first 2 trades, and I’m pretty sure the Caps don’t do that trade either.

More like senile Don Waddell. That's not even remotely close if you want to dump KK. And the Blues see Suzuki all the time, they already know he's not interesting.

I love how you think the penguins are going to give up draft picks to move Smith.
Even 1 for 1 I wouldn't make that trade for the penguins.

You over paid on Bunting, and you wrapped him up in too much term.
The league is getting more and more adverse to signing 3rd line guys to term.
In the next 5 years you probably going to see a lot of 2 year deals on those guys like 4th liners, because no one wants stuck in those contracts effecting their cap.
But you signed it and now you have to swallow it for at least another year.

The Bunting deal is more than fine... I don't know why the OP is dumping him
The rest of this is just headscratching

Yeah that's a no for the blues. Jesperi has been underwhelming, Suzuki is meh. Need a lot better prospect in the package

Bunting hasn’t been a good fit imo, not sure what is headscratching the Buchnevich trade could have more going to the blues but that’s it.

He's been fine for what we've brought him in for which is to help with the power play, provide some grit, and some more 5v5 scoring. He doesn't fit the system like other players do and that's be design

I mean he’s been ok but he’s got 21 5v5 points on the year in 60 games Buchnevich or Noesen could take his spot on the power play, he hasn’t been horrible defensively but Reilly Smith is a better two way player, Bunting and Necas on the same line is concerning in the playoffs. Last thing about Bunting it he’s an unproven playoff performer where Reilly smith has a great playoff resume.

eh, I'm not so sure the canes would hate that second one. at this point they may wash their hands of that KK deal.
