Description

I believe Sproul will open the year on LTIR giving us partial relief from his cap hit but he wont be on out the whole year so his entire cap hit wont be coming off the books. Even if it was, it's not enough to get us under the cap...what am I missing here?

Are they planning on Kronwall LTIRetiring and just haven't told anyone? Cause if not then it seems like they have to move/buyout somebody to get Tatar and AA in under the cap.

An Ericsson buyout would do it...moving a goalie would do it...

I haven't heard anything about a Kronwal being placed on LTIR, makes since to buy out Ericsson. Sproul has a two way contract so he can sit in minors and not affect our cap number

Sproul isn't eligible to down to Grand Rapids, he'll need to pass through waivers - First year is 2-way $600k and 2nd year 1-way at $650k
