Minny trade is fair but that’s one of the worst Buch trades I’ve seen.

No it’s not. Lekkerimaki is a higher ranking prospect than Snuggerud and Dvorsky. Blues probably accept.

Just don’t see the need to add a Lekkerimaki to our prospect pool.

Blues have no need for more forward prospects or a bum like Mikheyev. We can get more than 2 pieces for Buch.

You can never have too many good players. Per this list. He would be the Blues highest ranking prospect…

He’s a good prospect for sure. It’s not about having too many good prospects. It’s that we have a major imbalance in our pipeline.

You’re right - the Oilers never should have drafted McDavid because they already had Leon and RNH…smh

That’s a massive over exaggeration. And not relatively near the same scenario.

Huh??????? You say THAT on THIS DAY???????? Bruh.... it;s not even a bad offer, man.

Uhhh no he is NOT. Wherever did you get that idea? Snuggs and Dvorsky are typically ranked somewhere between 11 and 30-ish. Lekkerboy is typically ranked around 50-60. Hell, Pronman had him like 154th.

Edit: Ahhh now I see where you got the idea. Wheeler has been off his rocker for a couple years. Constantly underrates Dmen and constantly overrates small skill players.

Lekkerimaki Is 5’11”…or 1 inch shorter than Robert Thomas if you want to be exact. Would the Blues prefer dman prospect(s) - sure I agree. But to call this a bad offer or not needed by the Blues is the only thing “off his rocker”. It’s debatable where they are ranked but Lekkerimaki is in same range as Blues’ highest ranked prospects.

He’s listed as a RW from what I saw so unless the Blues move Kyrou there’s no need. Snug will solidify the top 6 with Dvorsky. If Lekkerimaki plays on the left side it’s fine.

Dude, "small" is not only height. Weight is probably more important. Lekkerimaki is quite skinny to be only 5-11. And I specifically said it is NOT a bad offer in the same comment you quoted. And I said absolutely nothing about "not needed".

Why do people not read the actual words I say?

Players add weight as their career's go on. He's only 19 and probably weighs more now than the weight listed. I didn't mean to say you said "not needed" - that was someone else, and I generalized everything so apologize.

I also prefer Snuggerud and Dvorsky to him but can admit my bias as have watched them play more. Was just saying he is ranked in their same ilk. Yes I would prefer a Dman prospect but would not turn down a guy who projects to be in the top 6 just because we have "too many" forward prospects. Can always make future trades later from surplus.
