Any interest in Seabrook?

I like all 3 of those players. I'm not trading any picks though. Ideally I'd take Saad and Horvat for Mittelstadt who was a top 10 pick who I think has 2nd most upside of the entire 2017 draft, Bracco who had a great year in the OHL , Vrana who was a high 1st rounder and is still finding his way and Valiev or Spencer, perhaps I could add in something else small if you can find anything else in this bargain bin of a team.

Your team is very very rough. The only guys I have interest in are Bjork and Mrazek. I'd take Bjork and Brown for my DAL 2018 4th or I'd do Bjork Brown and Mrazek for Markstrom and SJ 2018 6th or Brown + Mrazek + Something for a worse pick

Do Severson or McNabb interest you?

Both interest me, but they have less value to me than the players you were inquiring about. I used to like Severson, but after he was 3rd worst in +/- league wide this last year, including -15 more than any other defenseman on the Devils and he's only logging 20 minutes of ice time it kinda scares me. Maybe I could give you Pulock and Goldobin for Severson and Lucic @ 50%.

I'm looking for younger players. I'd offer barely anything for him even though he's good right now because of his cap hit for that length of time. Just too many years in there where he could dip. If you took Callaghan in the deal I'd give you Vrana and Marincin. I know it's small, but I just don't want to give up good young stuff for aging players.

+/- is a worthless statistic that isn't repeatable but I get what you are saying. He was easily NJD best defenseman last year. +4.3 CF%rel, led the defense in TOI, and got extremely unlucky due to the down year of Schneider and poor Sh% by the forwards honestly. His PDO was the lowest on the team among defense and you probably saw the worst he will ever do since PDO normally reverts back to the mean (he was 97 and mean is 100). I couldn't add Lucic to the deal unless you added more especially if you want me to retain. Lucic is still a positive result player and I'm not willing to retain on him especially for that long.

Yeah, see I wouldn't want Lucic unretained because I'm a Bruins fan and I know we traded him because he's going to drop within a few years. I do agree that +/- shouldn't be taken completely literally, but when you are that bad compared to every other defenseman on the same team, it does carry some weight to me. In his favor though he did play with a lot of different guys so I'm sure that contributed to things. Juolevi is off the table for a guy like Severson. Pulock I really like as well because of his offensive upside and his cannon of a shot. I think this is his year, now that they've moved Hamonic.

I like Severson better than McNabb and If the Lee you are talking about is Anders Lee, I'd have to say no. I think Anders Lee was the new Matt Moulson. (guy who gets inflated by being with Tavares) I can't see your prospects, but if you wanted a McNAbb for Pulock deal you'd have to add a rather good prospect given McNabb is a UFA in 1 year, played like half the season, and had his lowest ATOI to date at around 15 mins. That's not a guy I'd trade a 1st round prospect + for....

well the difference between him and moulsen is that he isn't going anywhere haha. I don't see that though. He's better defensively than moulsen was but that's for you to evaluate - look at their HERO charts from when they played with Tavares an you'll see what I mean. As far as prospects I can't pull them up since we had to set it to 23 man roster right now, but I have Shane Bowers as probably my top prospect. He was a 1st round pick this year and plays center. Would you be interested in Bowers/McNabb for Pulock or Bowers/2nd/3rd rd pick (McNabb value) for Pulock? I'd move Severson for Pulock too but we'd have to work on that part more in depth.

No interest in Bowers. I'd rather have McNabb + 2018 1st EDM, but I don't think I'd like to take that kind of risk. If I trade my only RHD, I kind of need a RHD back, which looks like it would be Demers. If the deal was McNabb + Demers + 2018 1st EDM for Pulock.... then I know I'd have to add something in, preferably a LHD, If you would like to do McNabb + Demers + 2018 1st EDM for Pulock + Ericsson, We could make that happen.

I am interested in Mitch Marner. What's the asking price?

It'd be extremely difficult to make a deal work without you throwing in JT. I also don't value JT as much as others would because I am well aware someone is going to offer him a max contract next season as a UFA.

I'd say the lowest I can go before talking to a lot of other GM's about him, would be Marner + Marincin for Bobrovsky + Hamonic + 2018 NYI 1st + 2018 MTL 1st.

What if I did McNabb/Mantha (top defensive prospect and RHD) for Pulock. I can't really give up a top-4 guy, a 4th/5th dman, and a 1st for a prospect and an overpaid bottom pairing guy you know?

I can't do that, as I have no interest in Mantha.

I also don't consider Pulock much of a prospect anymore, as the only thing blocking him from a full time NHL spot is Scott Mayfield, who was mediocre last season in 20ish games. I don't think Demers and McNabb have as much value to me as they do to you. I don't consider McNabb a lock as a top 6 defender for Vegas when they have Garrison, Sbisa, Merrill and Schmidt who are all also LHD's. I see him playing like 40 games.

Demers got overpaid for what he brings. He is a top 4 defenseman, but he's a #4 which the way I break it down is like.... you have your top 3 go-to guys and then you have your bottom 3 players who'll skate less than 20 minutes. He's in the bottom 3 of the top 6 and he's making 4.5M. Also another disturbing thing about him is that he's been in the NHL 8 years and has played a lot, but has only played more than 75 games in a season 1 time. He's most likely to miss 20 games next season, which is kind of a let down.

Everyone around the league has been raving about Pulock as a PP QB and his shot is already legendary without even having played much. I need some serious goods to give up that much potential and I wouldn't be getting something that matched him even in the deal I proposed. I think EDM is a SCF team next season or atleast WCF which means the pick would be 28-31. Not sure you're gonna find a Pulock type talent there and if you did, he'd be around 3 or 4 years away from competing for a roster spot.

It's going to take a lot to get the guys who are ready to be NHLers but are still technically prospects from me. Clayton Keller and Pulock are basically ready for the show this year. Guys like Vrana, Goldobin, Juolevi and others have a good chance as well. Samsonov has enormous value to me as well. If you want some bargin bin players you'll need to shop for the unknowns and hope they work out.

Marner for Domi+?

You want to trade me a 25 year old who's only scored above 60 points once for a guy who did it his first year at 19 years of age? I hope you know you'd need to add on to that deal substantially to make it work out for both sides.

I like Domi, but it'd have to be a very big +.
