I still think it's too much. He's gonna want a long term deal much higher than his current cap hit. He's a tp tier goalie, but too many goalies decline too quickly. Plus the Leafs need draft capital for the deadline. I'd give up the first, Robertson and Neimela for him with an extension of less than 5 years under $6 mil. Otherwise we'll run with Woll and Hildeby for the next few years

Its definitely an otherwise. You might get him for five years if lucky but he's definitely worth considerably more

Not sure they are the TOR future of goaltending.... but I think with those numbers Saaros is wanting 10M if only for 5yrs; Bob got 10M per in FLA and I would guess that's his target comparison but without the Vezinas
