the price is definitely not unreasonable, I just don't see the fit for EK65 on this team, as much as it pains me to say. you're probably gonna get some weird comment about Kleven being somehow untouchable or something

Is your goal to collect all the bad goalie contracts? Might as well toss Cal Peterson as 3rd string as well.

Please stop posting Jarry to LA, look at who LAs goaltending coach is and you should figure out why it won’t work. PLD is stuck in LA and has a NMC.

I don't think it's crazy either, the only issue is they need to forfeit a 1st between 24-26, so their essentially going to give up 2 firsts in the next three years and I don't think they can afford to do that.

Maybe if they can appeal that awful ruling and get it down to like a forfeited 2nd or something

yeah, but I think that this trade would inevitably come with a different one where the Sens would need to move out one of Chabot or Chychrun anyways, so they'd be able to recoup some assets there. in a perfect world, Sens might even be able to do that trade first and then move the 1st they get in that trade to Pittsburgh instead of their own, but that's splitting hairs that I'm not gonna fuss over

Yeah and the Sens would not be open to losing back to back unprotected 2025 and 2026 1sts . That is insanity
