No reason for Ottawa to do that.

They can't simply find another Tkachuk.

I get keeping what you've got... But the difference between Brady and Ray isn't ASP and a 2nd lol.

On the ice, yeah. If anything Raymond is better. But Tkachuk's value is his off ice abilities more than goals and assists.

Are we talking in terms of leadership?

... I love Brady, but I feel like that'd be hard to argue at the moment considering the talent Ottawa has compared to their place in the standings.

And I think Raymond ends up better overall, but I can see Brady's value being higher based on the rarity of his style.

Tkachuk is the kind of player that if you trade him you'll immediately start looking for a replacement which you'll never find. That's why I'd never trade him.

Agreed. I'd say it's for what he brings on the ice, though.

Partially, but you can find plenty of 75 point wingers out there...so its obviously something else too.

Marriaging to "off-ice" abilities is what lands you players like Perron and Copp =(.

75 point wingers are there.

75 point wingers who are absolute agitating dicks and can back it up aren't.
