Offseason problem solving

Description
In division trades are weird, but the Wings need a real answer in goal until Cossa is ready and I’m tracking Boston looking for a legit LD. Wings have both Edvinsson and AlJo ready to break into the show, and Walman will be looking for a big bump in two years.

Gotta think bruins consider. Husso at 2.75 mill isn’t terrible could retain again and move.
Maybe Detroit adds a 3rd or conditional 2nd.

Walman though would be great next to Carlo or mcavoy, good shot blocker and has a hell of a shot something we have lacked since Krug and chara have left.
6’2” 220 is nice aswell.

He’s on a nice stop gap contract for Lohrei to take over a top 4 role.

I’d be happy with a defence next season of
Walman-Mcavoy
Lindholm- Carlo
Lohrei- Peeke
Wotherspoon

I’d rather keep Walman to help insulate our young defensemen plus goalies are so hit & miss.

So we weaken our top line defense Corp for one year of Ullmark?

Yes, Wallman will want a bump, but in two years, which gives Evidsson, Wallander, ASP and AJo time to develop.

That D looks rough.

Can't see Yzerman making that trade.

So uhh... We're problem solving by trading one of our two defenders that doesn't look absolutely rancid most nights?

Trading one of our better dmen for 1 year of a goalie?

That defense is very young and inexperienced....not a good choice.

It's concerning how many Wings fans can watch our ****ty D leave the goalie hung out to dry night in and night out, and still think goaltending is the problem.

Easy no from Boston. The entire point of moving Ullmark is to free the cap space. Taking back Husso defeats the purpose.
