Description

Lol avs lost to the canadiens. Granted Annunen was in net. The whole team played terrible. I'm OK with them.losing games but I'm not Ok with them losing games with no effort.

Hopefully this loss will reset them. Sometimes you need losses to humble yourself.

I think it's time to shake it up.

Need to put nuke back with mack. Drouin has been awesome with mack.

Mittlestadt has had some flashes but still not giving up.
I notice duhaime more then wood and think him and colton would be good.

Kirivanta was playing good before being scratched. I love cogs but he's been regressing.

I didn’t see a lack of effort, I saw a lack of physicality and a goalie that was stopping shots that he had no right to. Man he played great. Both teams were flying. The habs were attacking our dmen all night long causing turnovers, odd man rushes and preventing us from maintaining high pressure cycles.
Walker had a really bad game.
We didn’t adjust or couldn’t play a heavy deep cycle game like we have in the past.

How do the HABS beat the AVS twice this season but get blown away by SENS and SABRES, picking up only 1 point against them thus far..

Lol it's like the avs they play dominant against teams or come back and win.

But last night game the Habs were very stingy.

Good thing about this loss is its right before the rangers game. This game just showed what the avs gotta work on and hopefully humbled them. Get back to basics now.

I'm not worried about the loss but I still think kirivanta should take cogs spot and duhaime on 3rd line.

I was at the game, and they just had no energy. Annunen was fine, hated the first goal soft asf, I mean he only gave up 2. Parise, Colton Wood were by far the worst line of the night, they got destroyed in shot metrics. Which is funny because Mittlestadt Nichushkin Lehkonen dominated shot share but I thought they were awful, I would give Rantanen Mittlestadt some time together. Walker was awful, but again it was just no sense of urgency at all.

90s Avs would lose to the fLames, who were horrible, just like this scenario. Its fine & they'll still be contenders this post season. Maybe they went to the bar last night, or whatever. Much ado about nothing my friend.

COL decidedly wants their bottom 6 to be physical and forecheck hard, that’s not his M.O. and Bednar will never trust him like Cogs. Kovalenko in theory should get some games unless his injury is way worse than what they are letting on he is the one who could push Cogs to the bench.
