I definitely look at this roster and feel like we need another long term $5M middle six center...

Zero interest in JK, Our future 2C and 3C are Danielson and Kasper. And as far as I'm concerned both will be better than JK.

FYI Try more like 8 x $8,500,000 for Moritz Seider and 8 x $7,500,000 for Lucas Raymond. There's zero chance that Raymond makes anywhere close to Seider money.

Hakanpaa is big so Yzerman would likely be interested.

He can defend but he doesn't skate too well.

Probably an upgrade on Petry though.

There are legally blind children who would be an upgrade over Petry.

I'd sign his Dad to replace him at this point.

Calgary isn't giving you an asset more Maatta, you gotta pay us to take him

Total money is the same between the 2, kept it 8 each just to save time. Also Mo hasn't been great lately and Raymond has been carrying the team. Wouldn't surprise me if they get Similar deals.

Interesting, I've seen that trade in a few other calagary agms. Maatta still has some value. He's a decent 3rd pair guy.

I agree with you on Olli.

But boy did he ever serve up a pizza in his own zone today.

Panthers didn't score.

But it was a great Jeff Petry impersonation! 😬

RHD gonna be valued more than a winger every day of the week. That and Mo has been eating absolute **** assignments all year.

I've loved the way Raymond has played this year, but I see him around $7.5M - $8M. I'd be very surprised if Seider takes anything less than a Larkin match.

Yeah Seider plays hard minutes man.

He needs some help on D or he'll be retired at 28.

Alex DeBrincat has 2 40 goal seasons, And he's making slightly less than $8,000,000 per. There's no way Yzerman is paying Raymond more than Cat right now.

Pretty easy no from Carolina. Kotkaniemi is still only 23 and he's a high-end 3C at worst. No reason to move him for a severe downgrade

Your "high end 3C at worst" has 25 points this season, which puts him below what our "Severe downgrade" posted last season.

KK put up 40 last year... which is more than Berggren has in his career,,,, since you know, you want to compare last seasons stats

I'm comparing last season's stats because Detroit has been hell bent on keeping his waiver exemption this year. If you really want me to compare this year, Berggren's got 6 in 12 for a far better pace than KK.

Please tell me more about your $5M "High-end 3C at worst." Because he produces less than Copp, who also kills penalties, and we're told incessantly that that's a **** contract.

By the way, since you want to talk **** about "KK put up 40 last year, Berggren doesn't have that in his career", Berggren's career is 34 points in 79 games... Which is, again, better than the 25 points in 74 games KK has this season. Try again. tears of joy

Kotkaniemi plays WAY less time. Plus, he's got an awful PDO this year. He's been brutally unlucky with his production this year, and it's his first season in Carolina where he hasn't had a 40 point pace.

KK literally had 43 points in 82 last year... that's better than Berggren's pace LMAO, try again

If by, "Way less" you mean he doesn't play the two and a half minutes on the PK that Copp does, yeah, you're right...
