Not trading away our 2C while we still have a competitive window. Rather move Sheary and open up space that way instead.

Blues don't get a 2C that way. Tampa Bay declines. They aren't ready to downgrade the current roster for futures yet.

I get that the Oilers drafted him high, but he's gonna be 23 in a few months and he still hasn't carved out an every day spot in the Oilers lineup
