No one, to answer your question.
I think goaltending in the league has changed drastically.
You have 5 top end goaltenders, then 5 good ones, then +/-20 goaltenders who are about the same calibre.
Then you have 1 really good young one who will never play again because of his trial, then you have 3 ****ty ones playing in Edm organization

Why would Carolina be interested? Georgiev is a good tandem goalie. Andersen is a bona fide starter

A bona fide starter who played 14 games against mostly non playoff teams. Kochetkov played 40 games and Raanta played 24 games. Now I'm not saying Carolina should or shouldn't make this trade but your statement is way off the edge of the map. If Carolina felt the same way he would've played a lot more games.

What...? Are you high? Freddie missed the entire year with a blood clotting issue. It's why he's a Masterton finalist...

Been impressed with Juice's rise. Something is not clicking with 40 & starting to wonder if he just doesn't have "it".

Georgiev has the physical tools to play a starter's load. He's missing the 1v1 part of his game needed to make the Big Save. I'm a former goalie & I've watched him struggle in two specific areas this season & I can see an easy path to correct those issues. I find it unlikely, but still possible, his coach Jussi Parkkila doesn't see what I see. I ask myself: why hasn't he fixed these issues after almost two seasons? Kuemper performed & Annunen is getting it. Maybe 40 just isn't that guy? Perhaps he'd do better with a different coach or in a tandem scenario on another team. If his game is still incomplete next season, I could see the Avs moving him to turn the page.

At times he's been very negative towards his own teammates & recently shot a puck into the seats at a home game. Some games it seems like the skaters play harder for the other goalies. The Avs have a reputation for being loyal, but if Georgiev burned that bridge he has to be moved.

I don't think all of this can be put on Georgie. He hasn't been as good as we'd like for sure, but some puck luck would also be nice. I'm with you on both being a former goalie (whilst nowhere near this level as a caveat) and that he has some issues which should really have been worked out by now by him and the goalie coach but the D in front of him has been woeful at times to say the least including the top 2. I've lost count of how many times Toews & Makar have fumbled pucks this year or plain had a hole in their stick or been out of position/played it wrong. Very much some back to basics needed on the defensive end and also the PP needs to start shooting the puck instead of looking for perfection all the damn time. They might score some more then to give Georgie and Juice a chance if they're having a night where they aren't really 'on'.

IMO the Avs puckmoving style tends to give up more high danger chances than a lockdown team like LAK. They expect G to cover up those chances on a regular basis. Georgiev likes to read the D coverage & anticipate shots, but when coverage breaks down - he breaks down too. Kuemper was such a good fit in COL bc he developed scramble skills from years of playing behind bad D in AZ.

This is for the most part true. I don't think he can be blamed for a lot of the ones where the Avs simply don't clear the net front (whether it be the puck or the man) however. That's a huge weakness the Avs D have imo and he gets hung out to dry far too much. I can understand if he's p***ed at the Avs D play at present. I would be too. With a smaller goalie you also can't bank on the puck just hitting him because he covers so much area - as it was with Kuemper. That size in addition to the scrambling ability makes a huge difference and partly why Justus is looking better for the Avs. It's some of the more simple ones that he should have that are the ones that frustrate me with Georgie. Soft goals I dislike with any goalie. I would also agree he's no Hasek when it comes to scrambling - a comparatively small G who played so much bigger. That's the kind of G the Avs need if they're smaller but they don't come around too often!
