imo depends what happens before #7. There’s good chances he’s still here for you guys. But watch out on Arizona and ANA ( if Levshunov gone )

I expect Verbeek to go off board and take Parekh at 5 or earlier, even if Leshunov is available.

I put the odds of Parekh to Anaheim at 0.

No way they roll with a dcorps of Mintyukov, Zellweger , Luneau, Parekh and company . 0 shot

I think Lindstrom and Levshunov will go 2-3 in no particular order and Demidov will go 4th

I got a feeling. Parekh has been careening up the draft boards, we would have seen him last year when we scouted Mintyukov, whom he played with in Saginaw, highest ceiling of any RHD in the draft, defense doesn't seem to be any worse than Kevshunovs recently, breaking OHL records, etc.

i guess we'll see come the draft, but Fantilli was the assumption last season and I got a feeling as the draft closed in that we'd go swedish, sure enough, we took Leo. If Zayne has a good world juniors showing, bet on Verbeek to take him. He goes for high hockey IQ guys.

I think he will go Lindstrom or Levshunov maybe Demidov. Doubt Parekh goes that high

He's on a couple boards top 3, even beating out Leshunov, he's a late climber and I don't think a lot of boards have caught up yet, but as I said, we'll see.

    Seriously doubt Demidov.

Levshunov is going top 4, 100%. I doubt he gets past Chicago unless they win the Lotto.

No way Demidov falls after Lindstrom. Only reason Lindstrom goes before Catton is his size, Catton is the more skilled player

With Lindstrom recent concussion he really could fall thinking about it. Makes me thinks of Byfield. If CHI picks at 2, do they go with him or Levshunov? Since they have Bedard Nazar Moore etc might add on Korchinski and Vlasic. Lindstrom doesn’t get past #3

Ignila has been rising like crazy. And he has everything. He 100% doesn’t get past Calgary so #7

Zayne Parekh, the craziest player here. Quinn Hughes went #9. I think he doesn’t get past Ottawa. He’s gone by #8and a team probably reaches on him.

    Celebrini consensus #1 doesn’t get past #1

Levshunov probably the best dmen in the class because he’s more complete than the other guys doesn’t get past #2

Eiserman, a one dimensional player who has been falling hard. Teams are realizing he can just score. Doesn’t get past #13. Expect him to have a long wait on draft day. Would be great value for a team that just missed the playoffs.

Ivan Demidov, probably the most polarizing player. Has all of the talent in the world, seems to have a good character but once again he’s Russian and under contract with his KHL team. Michkov went #7 with his off ice problems. Demidov doesn’t get past #7

Sam Dickinson, a quiet one here. Don’t hear about him often. One of the best dmen in the class. Jake Sanderson type of player. Doesn’t get past #5

Berkly Catton, one of the most skilled guy buy one of the smallest also. Reminds me of Zach Benson. Doesn’t get past #9

And then You have Anton Silayev. Doesn’t get past #6

    Mock Draft

    1- SJ ~ Macklin Celebrini
    2- ANA ~ Artryom Levshunov
    3- CHI ~ Cayden Lindstrom
    4- CBJ - Anton Silayev
    5- ARI - Sam Dickinson
    6- MTL - Tij Ignila
    7- OTT - Zayne Parekh
    8- CGY - Berkly Catton
    9- BUF - Carter Yakemchuk

I could see a scenario where Catton goes in the place of one of the two LDs but yeah you’re 100% right

I dont know. How many of those guys are guaranteed top pair and not just top4 ceiling in Anaheim? Really I know Anaheim fans will all say that is their core guaranteed but they dont know, its simply hope not reality. They are a complete mess defensively.

I feel the same issue with the Habs. I dont think they have guaranteed top pair. Hutson will produce points for sure but he wont be Quinn Hughes. Maybe Guhle could be a Shea Weber type but thats a maybe, hes been playing on the right with Matheson, it hasnt been ideal. Reinbacher i think is just solid like a Pesce, he was playing with scrubs in Switzerland and already looks much better in the AHL but even there is sort of chaotic and I think hed be a better NHL'r than minor leaguer much like Jayden Struble whom came out of nowhere. No one knows with these prospects as the quality of play really does affect positioning and the flow of game for defenceman much more than forwards that can create on their own.

If I were the Habs and either guy was available, I'd take Parekh/lev. These guys draft stocks have really risen when I hear comparisons to Makar and Heiskanen when ppl talk about Parekh and Levshunov.

I really, really like Iginla. He's the Zach Benson type of player along with better size that the Habs needed last year and I was screaming for Benson but called they would take Reinbacher.

Iginla is the one forward besides Celebrini that I could take over one of those quality D.

I’m very high on Iginla too. I think he’s easily as good as Guenther/Jarvis type if not better .

If Parekh and Lev are gone , I’d take Iginla if I’m ottawa

After this draft was called very weak for months by ppl here, it always gets hyped up at the end of the year like clockwork. Always funny.

I, personally, love this draft. I said last month if the Habs can get Iginla and Beckett Sennecke with the Jets pick, I'd be quite satisfied.

Big tank bowl next week in Ottawa LMAO

Habs are absolutely gutted with injuries right now as Xhekaj and Guhle are now out! Tough to see that 1st line carrying the load right now without any secondary scoring besides Joel lol Armia. Joshua Roy was everything last month but after he got hurt Armia is still somehow producing playing with 4th liners and top6 minutes. Their forwards crops is garbage but the defenseman in this draft class all have some much promise!

As a Sens fan I just hope 1 or 2 of Silayev/Dickinson are gone before our pick. We just don’t need LD , it would be devastating if we picked one

We took Reinbacher over Leonard and Michkov last year. Ain’t no way we take another dmen this draft. Only way it happens is if we take Parekh at 6 and then we trade Mailloux for like Kent Johnson or something like that.
