Chabot would also give a top pairing LD to keep with Andersson for the near and distant future.

The additional pieces would need to be smoothed out but could be something there.

Weegar has played LD 99% of the time with the Flames and works well with Andersson already. Don't see why we would take the risk of Chabot fitting with Andersson

Any Weegar deal isn’t happening unless it’s an extreme overpay. He’s been one of the only bright spots this season.

Calgary has ZERO interest in Chabot. Make it Chychrun with an extension and that'd get talks started.

I think Ottawa would be more willing to part with Chychrun than Chabot, I see no issue with that at all.
