its real tough to say for drouin. the guys playing real good with mack but if he's not with mack is he worth 4.5? i think the ceiling we'd pay him is 4 and i don't see too many other teams offering him more than that.

Yeah I agree wholeheartedly, his overall game has definitely improved, but I think it’s legit to ask can he produce away from MacK because MacK can make a lot of guys look good. Maybe he’s willing to take some sort of discount to stay knowing what it’s like playing without him.

agreed. Ideally he takes 3x5 or something to stay around here for the winning window and have peace of mind that he isn't going anywhere for the next while. If we could lock up a first line player for 3 mil that would go a long way.

If we sign Drouin someone else will have to go. Even at 3m. However at 3m perhaps we can trade woods instead of Colton or Leky.

I don’t think he signs for 3m either but you never know.
