I'm finally making the switch from Windows to Mac for web development, but I'm lost when it comes to FTP clients. On Windows, I always used FileZilla, is that the best option for Mac too? Security is a big concern for me, especially since I'll be uploading sensitive code. Are there any Mac FTP clients with built-in encryption or that integrate well with security features?

There are more powerful FTP clients for Mac! Security should be a top priority when transferring code, so a good encryption option is key. I have been very happy with this ftp client for mac Commander One PRO. It's not just an FTP client, but a full-fledged file manager with great security features. Your files are transferred encrypted and cannot be read by anyone peeking at the connection. There's a bit of a learning curve with Commander One because it has a lot of features, but it's well worth it for the security and convenience. They have plenty of tutorials to get you started too.

Thanks for the interesting topic and information! The built-in encryption and SSH key support in Commander One sounds very appealing. Especially for working with confidential code. Does Commander One offer a free trial, or is it a one-time purchase?
