There is a lot of unecessary pieces.
Dvorak retained + pick vs Kampf (don’t buy him out, cheap 4th line option long-term) +1st would be a starting point

Evans > Kampf for MTL. When Evans will gonna leave, I can see Beck taking his spot.

Also, I see a return of Monahan for our 3C.

How does this make any sense for the Leafs? With taking Dvorak and no other pieces moving or retention, they have $14,755,333 left next season to fill 5 roster spots which includes re-signing Liljegren and Robertson. They have all kinds of cap space to work with, dont need retention, and don't need to dump Kampf ... so what are they paying for here? You are just moving meh pieces and trying to turn them into a first from a team by providing services they have no need of to disguise the fact you aren't moving anything close to a 1sts worth of value in return.

Swap the MTL 3rd with the WPG 1st and maybe...

But even then, Dvorak isn't more valuable to the Leafs than Kampf...

Kampf almost has as many goals as Dvorak has points and he's a defensive centre...

To add, Kampf is Toronto's best PKer, which the Leafs need more than a 3C to play with Marner

Your comparaison between Dvorak and Kampf is just dumb. Dvorak played less than 30 games. Kampf played a full year.

Dvorak is also a good PKer.

They still have similar PPG

And Kampf is a way better PKer... So the Leafs have no need to trade him or the 1rst, if there is a 1rst being moved, it would be to Toronto

Omg, typical biased Leafs fan! tears of joy

Dvorak: 0.32 ppg (Playing hurt). Historically, more a 0.45-0.55 ppg kind of forward

Kampf:0.22 ppg. Historically more a 0.30-0.35 ppg type of forward

One is a middle 6 guy, the other is a bottom 6. There is a significant difference in value. Is it a first? Maybe not. A 2nd maybe.

Dvorak's a 3C in Montreal!

that means he's a bottom 6 player... Just like David Kampf... And .1 PPG is super similar... One has Ryan Reaves to play with, the other doesn't...

And Kampf is so much better defensively... but you ignore that part!

Just hilarious how you think Dvo should net a 1rst and yet Kampf, who's more valuable to Toronto and would be to MTL, is a cap dump

Typical Habs fan... First Josh Anderson for a 1st++, then Joel Edmunson for a 1st+ and now Christian Dvorak for a 1st

Dvorak can be your 6th-8th best forward in your team. He’s very good defensively and can produce. Kampf need to be on 4th line.

You are blind. I didn’t made the ACGM. I am saying that the difference between both players at this offseason is likely a 2nd rounder or a 1st if MTL add a decent pick.

Josh’s value was around a 1st few years ago. It is not anymore.

Joel, depending the market at the TDL, could fetch a 1st like Chiarot did.

I would keep Dvorak until the TDL. He’s the kind of player that could fetch a 1st half retained if he return to a normal 0.45-0.55 ppg. Similar value as Henrique IF Dvo can bounce back next year and not be injured.

Dvorak isn't better than:
Matthews
Marner
JT
Nylander
Bert
Domi
McMann
Jarnkrok
Knies
Robertson
Holmberg

That puts him at 11th forward, not even including Kampf or Dewar

You're trying to justify the trade though... At no point you've said "that value's off" or "taking the trade aside", etc.

Dvorak's never healthy and much better options will be at TDL and he's not as good as Henrique was... Nor does he have the pedigree Henrique has...

And again, the difference between the 2 isn't anything significant, one's mediocre on both sides, another is elite defensively and okay offensively

Get rid of the 1st going to MTL and the 3rd and 7th going to Toronto

Add a 4rth going to MTL

What about sending your 1st, but we send a 2nd, a 3rd or another 3rd (or 4th) for futhermore drafts (2025-2026) to give somes flexibility about the Leafs furthermore TDL ?

Would Kampf would value to you, as the Leafs would be good keeping him as a shutdown guy, would he serve purpose in the trade? As I wouldn't mind doing

1rst+5th for Dvo+Kovi+Pit 2nd+MTL 3rd+ 4rth

Oh yeah sure, as always every Maple Leafs player is better than every other player in the league.

I basically said that a first might be too much. Sorry sir next time I will remember to say spefically that the value’s off tears of joy

Nope... Just better than your 3C... The sole reason for the Leafs trading for Dvorak is for him to have a Droun like resurgence... And saying the 1rst is slightly too much...

And the difference "is likely a 2nd rounder or a 1st if MTL adds a decent pick back" meaning like a 4rth... which isn't true at all
