Montreal Canadians Custom Roster

Created by: bodlaire
Team: 2017-18 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 23, 2017
Published: Jul. 23, 2017
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
FUCALE TO COL : I want to let him a chance to play in the AHL next year, but here with McNiven and Lindgren it won't be possible.
DAVIDSON TO CAL : Poirier need a new town to reconnect with his player habilities. Davidson is no longer needed with the Joe Morrow's add, so I trade him because he takes a spot on the roster. I retain salary because we can receive a good prospect in Poirier, and because his 1.425M$ let someting on the cap hit if he goes to the AHL.
CARR TO WAS : There is congestion on the bottom 6, so it was possible to advance for next draft
MARTINSEN TO ANA : Martinsen goes on waivers because Peter Holland takes his spot on the roster, and Jared Boll just get older every year. Martinsen is not the fastest forward possible, but can do the job in Anaheim in the case of 13th forward.

Would love to have Fucale on avs but is he really only worth future considerations?

I like how you focus on all the small details most fans don't consider, but Fucale isn't getting traded for future considerations. The team would keep him in the ECHL again if anything, he is still an asset and they won't lose him for nothing. Lindgren should be the guy habs try to trade. With Price locked up and Montoya as current backup, lindgren will never get a chance to live up to his potential. Should start focusing on McNiven to be price's future replacement.

      Price
      Montoya
      McNiven
      Fucale

Lindgren on the trade block.. the only value he has to the team is if Price gets hurt he would be better than Montoya.
