Imagine the pressure on Marner to produce with the Sens in his contract year. Marner ain't waiving as he will play for the Leafs and rack up his 95 points (which is unlikely as a Sen) as he pursues a new contract in 2025.

Pressure will always be there in the playoffs. He just doesn’t have it. Great player, tons of skill, can do just about anything with the puck, but winning mentality…ain’t got it. You gotta be able to turn it up come playoffs. Flip that switch as they say. Find that fire inside. He doesn’t have it. Happens to a lot of great athletes in any sport. Great during regular season but come playoffs…nope, ain’t got it in them.
