Pens fan here and i gotta agree with that det comments. Hes worth more than a first, a depth defensive guy, and a guy who has had 1 good season playing along sid. If you swapped sheary for guentzel and sprong for Pouliot then its probably closer to the overpayment you mentioned

Zero chance, even for Guentzel and Sprong, it won't happen. Larkin didn't have the best season last year, but his ceiling is higher than just about anyone you could offer (outside of Crosby, Malkin, Kessel and Letang).
