Spence is definitely an offensive upgrade from Perbix, but not sure he's much better defensively. And Beau in the top 6 probably doesn't end well.

I can see adding Nick Perbix, but not replacing Jordan Spence with him.

What's LA's view of Clarke? His counting stats are pretty much outstanding. Is he seen as close to ready or does he still need some seasoning?

Management is hoping that he can replace Matt Roy next season.

Rather start developing our prospects like Duke or Groshev in a top 6 spot than sign Beauvillier and invest that money elsewhere.

Love Spence, but I don't think he'd be the ideal defensive partner for anyone in the top 4. Rather target a defensive minded player instead

I’m sorry but 5 year deal for a guy who likes 34 that’s a lot

I beg to disagree. If Roy walks, I think management would probably be pretty happy letting Clarke play 2D and adding a huge rugged 3RD and another 2nd rounder in place of their redundant puck-mover in Spence.

I like Spence a lot and wouldn't like to see him go. But our team needs to get larger throughout the lineup, back-end included.

Doughty, Clarke, Perbix would be a fine RD set, I think.
