Winnipeg should and would say no to the first one. Too much for one year of a player that won't resign and doesn't fill a need.

The Jets consider the 2nd one but most likely Pulock and the Islanders don't.

My argument for the Chych trade would be that Conner, Ehlers and Lowry all have 1 or 2 seasons remaining before UFA this would be a way to load up for a run this season. Iafallo has 1yr remaining at about the same cap hit and the real question would be would Chych have a bigger impact on this team or Iafallo.

Yeah, I can understand that aspect, but that's a lot to pay for one year of a player. Additionally the Jets are more than a "Chychrun" away from being a serious contender. So, I don't see him making much if any difference next year.

As an Isles fan I’d definitely take that for Pulock but maybe I’m too optimistic for Perfetti. I think this is a perfect deal for both teams with the only thing in the way being the Pulock NTC, and even with that he’s from nearby so it’s reasonable he may wave. If Lou is in office is probably the deciding factor, because if he’s gone there’s most likely going to be a lot of movement within the team, and Pulock might think it’s for the best to leave.

That would be nice if he would waive. I'm not certain the Jets would consider moving Perfetti, but it's at least worth discussing.
