got him for 5 years @his arbitration ask for one year and during his best years. what's not to love?

Zibanejad will shock everyone with his play if he can stay healthy this season. He will need to step up his game on face offs, but he's already good. All around definitely worth 5.35 per year for 5 years not to high and not to low

$26,750,000 for ages 24-29. 2 RFA years, 3 UFA years (?)

If he wasn't drafted 6th overall, that would be seen as an expensive contract for a 20 goal scorer. Will need to play 2C+/1RW to not throw off the roster
I guess I've become accustomed to the Nashville discount.

He's broken 20 goals twice and 50 points once. And he would've done both last year had he not gotten injured.

Johansen is a very good first line centre, whereas Zibnejad is a very good 2nd line centre. They're at least 2 tiers apart.
