Your homerism is deluded. I'm a Nucks Fan, although Marner won't fetch as much as he could if he had term, he is still a very good player.

I suggested the Kraken trade Bjorkstrand,Borgen and a 2025 first for him. I think that makes sense for both teams.

Are you implying that in the event Marner is strictly a rental his value will be diminished to the point of almost zero net value? Because that is what you are offering. And IF that happened, why would Marner demand MTL?

To beat a dead horse here, Anderson even at 3.5 million is a negative value asset. You'd be paying the 2nd just to dump his retained contract.

So essentially the leafs are trading Marner and Robertson for free. I know Marner stocks are way down, but that's insanity.
