He's a good 7th d-man now and his cap hit is really good. Nice assurance to have on press-box if injuries occur.

Ouch, there's a lot of teams that desperately need NHL capable defencemen and Montreal isn't one of them
Good add. Would be fun to see MTL vs NSH in the finals for all kinds of reasons

Where does Markov go now? He's got a short list and didn't make it work with MTL that offered him the best fit.
Chicago can't afford him
Does Tampa want him?

Boston, Buffalo, New Jersey? Long shot Vegas

that is a good one by MB. I think Streit with a young Morrow can be a good mix in the bottom D corp. If I were MB I would be on the phone trying to find a younger LD to replace Markov ...
