No. Here's what I am saying:

A fresh, new GM Game v1. This BETA v1 has become more abundantly clear that more GMs will execute a paradigm shift to v2. With that in mind, we should anticipate opening up a new GM Game, as a "feeder" to the v2 GM Game.

What this would entail is having this current BETA, archived and locked. That way we can always reference it, or look back at trades, etc.

The creation of a new GM Game, which would contain the following people, in order of team selection:

1.) The BOE of v2. They would be without a team and have served long dues in BETA v1.
2.) The GMs of v2. If they would like to have a team in the new v1, they may; however, if they have an AGM in v2, their AGM gets to take their spot in succession.
3.) The Arm-Chair GMs. I have a semi-organized list of potential GMs who would be a great addition to the GM Game Community.

The Rules for v1 (non-BETA): Same as the ones in v2, but minus the BOE. We can have a BOG that functioned the same way in the BETA v1.

The Purpose for v1 (non-BETA): To attract new users to come to the GM Game. When I/other GMs asked about having some potential AGMs, they were completely lost on what was happening and we had a hard time explaining it to them. By having the hard-restarted v1, we can entice more and more competent GMs come to the game.

However, this is 100% contingent on v2 running smoothly.
I just want to anticipate the natural fallout with an idea to draw more attention to the main game going forward.

Maybe it is best to refer to it as v3 or something other than v1.

I am just saying because calling it v1 is what was confusing. Lol. Its a new game altogether. Probably a good idea to look at in a few weeks.

i make trade offers, but most people have been just doing v2.

There's only been about a third of GM's even bothering with V1.
I'm going to give active GM's the opportunity to finish off their teams (I'll plan it out this week).
Then we can discuss a fresh start or a shutdown if there isn't enough interest to run 2 games.

Here is what I had for the fresh start:

Same rules as v2 (minus anything pertaining to BOE)
Increased trade limit to 6 per month (will generate higher interest)

Team claiming method
1.) BOE in v2
2.) AGMs in v2
3.) GMs in v2
3.) New users

If you get an AGM in v2 after you claim a team in v1, your AGM will get that team.

This entire game will be locked and archived. The new v1 (v1.1) will be the game that we can train AGMs or new users who are interested.

I mean...what's the biggie with only having one game. It's not like anyone has any AGMs in V2 to begin with

I think we should definitely save the v1 teams though so that we can know who the Stanley Cup winner is somehow, or who's been the best GM.

Hopefully banned GM's will be considered for the best GM award
