Calgary doesn't want Marner. You might get just Markstrom for Marner if you retain 50% but no way you get Andersson. Calgary would retain another 50% and flip him as a deadline rental. In fact it'd probably take a promise they do that in order for him to even think about waiving for Calgary in the first place.

Bummer! I was thinking 'what would be the worst city for a professional athlete to live in,' and ship Marner there. Calgary was 1st on the list. Guess it's going to be the 'Peg instead.

You obviously know nothing about Calgary. I don't live there but I've been there many times, it's about the best city in Canada with a population over 1 mil to live in. I've been to Toronto, Vancouver often enough and lived in edmonton for many years. edmonton actually isn't a bad place to live in either but it pales in comparison to Calgary.
