Stop it, the Wild don't have the cap space, just do a little bit of research before you post, that's all it takes

Considering Minnesota's cap situation and Guerin's distaste for soft players, I think you'll find there's almost no chance they'd entertain a Marner trade.

He scores big goals, he hits, he fights. What more do you want in a hockey player?

For 6 mil I'll pass on BIG Z.

It's like paying Max Domi 6 mil.

They should try and get Quenneville.

I don't think Flyers would do that. Hathaway is great role player, and seems to be good influence in locker room as well.

I'll be worried if the Leafs hire Berube.

They might start winning in the playoffs. 😬

Agreed.

The OP would likely pay him 6 mil as a UFA.

What more do you want in a hockey player?

Berube is a great coach but Quenneville is probably the 2nd best coach of ever (or at least my generation) IF the NHL will let him back into the boys club

Berube is a better coach today.

That's all the Leafs should care about.

2nd best ever?

Get lost.

WHO's Better? Scotty Bowman is the clear number 1 other than that no one else has more wins or Cups than Quenneville

Any team that hires Q to be there coach should be ashamed of themselves, I know he is a great coach but he is legit a terrible human being

Kris Draper and Kirk Maltby each won 4 Cups.

So they must be better players than Marcel Dionne or Joe Thornton who won none. 🙄

I did say in my generation Al Arbour was just before my time. As far as Sather goes was he a good coach? or just had a stacked team?

Why? He was not accused of anything and is on record that the first time he heard anything happened was when everything everything came out in the media.

Fair point, but look at it this way

1. Great coaches will always get the best out of their players and can turn them into stars. Trotz did with Pelech and Nelson and Korn/Greco with Lehner
2. Just because a team is stacked doesn't mean anything if you have a bad coach. Leafs are a great example of this
