I think its fair.

-Sheary and a 1st for Vegas' second line center. Plus, the first is kind of a "sorry" pick in case Sheary, truly, is only good with Crosby.

Sheary is classes above Eakin

Center or not, Sheary would bring back more

Don't even no if I like a First for Eakin alone.

Rather have Karlsson and he wouldn't cost nearly that

I'd have to disagree. No one knows what Conor Sheary is. Is he a top 6 player? A product of the Crosby/Malkin Effect? A lightning in a bottle scorer? We don't know, so I have a feeling it'd be a little harder to sell Sheary, due to the confusion around him.

Also, I like Karlsson, but Eakin is established already AND is only 26. He's capable of racking up points if in a good situation. While Karlsson has potential, he's been limited to 4th line work. Not much to look at, yet.

Not everyone meshes with Crosby and Malkin. That's what Sheary is. He isn't going to get a deal based on his stats compared to a Kucherov or Gaudreau, he is going to get paid similar to how Dupuis and Kunitz were paid. If he asks for more the Penguins will just roll in the next guy to audition for Crosby's line.

Eakin is established.... as being pretty mediocre
Going to have to agree to disagree on this one
