Rangers want nothing to do with that trade or his contract, no thanks. Rangers are set at LD anyway.

So that's two things NYR doesn't need. Gain a lot of cap from acquiring Rielly, and pay a first to do so.

???? The usual. Marner doesn't waive to Flyers, and why, why would Flyers make that trade.
Rangers say no....just spend 7.5m on UFA.
Leafs say no to Flames....Just spend 6.25m on a UFA...well they can't cause Reilly's a Leaf.
M NTCs Kampf and Jarnkrok aren't going "anywhere"

Leafs really don't need Buchhnevitz or Larsson at those prices.

If Lindgren and Goodrow are added instead of the 1st I am considering this for sure! Reilly isn’t an amazing #1 but he’s an amazing #2 and to have him with fox or even with Schneider would be insane. Maybe find a 3rd team and toss them goods for retention 🔥🔥

Much rather have a younger Lindgren at way less money than 7 more years of Reilly at $7.5m/year until he is 37 or 38.

Getting a 3rd team to retain a small portion is well worth it. He’s a top 30 Dman for sure and Lindy is 4.5/ for sure. Trade him in 4-5 years
