Better than Skinner, Edmonton dominated that game for 85% of it. Like absolutely dominated, maybe one of the best offensive performances I've ever seen from us. Silovs decided to turn into 2015 Carey Price and the posts were puck magnets tonight it seemed. Skinner let in 4 goals on 14 shots from a very unusual lacklustre Canucks performance, they aren't going to play this poorly again and the fact they pulled it out due to a complete goaltending mismatch is insane considering Silovs is the Canucks 3rd string and Skinner was an "all-star" lmao.

Essentially I'd take a stick in net over Skinner at this point

Vladar isn't worth anything more than a 5th, I'm open to trying Gibson.

Gibson isn't on the market, his NTC is likely to include Edmonton, Anaheim probably won't be trading him intra-division and the small-market, internal-cap Ducks almost certainly won't be retaining much on him.

Gibson doesn’t waive for Canada and we aren’t hanging onto $2,400,000

Both Vladar's and Kulak's value seem a bit off.

Neither is worth a 2nd IMO. I'm not even sure if either would get claimed on waivers if I'm being honest.

So obviously I take it and run if I'm CGY.

HABS already tried Kulak. Don't see them take him back unless it's for a flip like they did for Petry.

But even then, they would not give up a 2nd round pick unless they are sure to get a 1st mid-range like in between 10th and 19th pick of the 2024 or 2025 draft for Kulak and something else.

I'm thinking either he has no clue Kulak once played for the HABS and they traded him out, or he's got in mind the Petry situation where the HABS have a team ready to flip him to, but it would need to be for something since they give up a second pick, which means a considerable return for a 1st round or established forward player that can help the team now.
