If Buch was 3 years younger, Yzerman accepts immediately.

His age is the only thing that keeps me hesitant on a Buch trade.

Buch would be a great add tbh. Wings need another older presence that is solid in that forward core since they have so much youth. I'd say this return is a little underwhelming if anything but I'd still do it as a Blues fan. It fits the needs we are looking for and I personally wouldn't mind a Fabbri return to slot in on the third line for depth.

I love Buch, I agree. The only piece I would mind giving up is the 1st, especially considering Buch will be 33/34/35 when this team is really done rebuilding.

If he was 27 or 28 right now I'd pull that trigger immediately.

Correct, so he'll be 30 next year.

Most of this teams core is 25 and under, with a lot of the team not even in the NHL yet. I'd be reluctant to give up the 1st for a 30 year old winger, regardless of how good he is.

I wouldn't hate the trade, but I'd prefer to draft a forward at #15 and let him develop.

Wings should do this if they can't trade for Theodore.

Meh. I don’t like moving both together and minimizing our return. Honestly don’t like moving Roy at all

I think this far more likely than Yzerman trading up to the 10th pick.
