I can see Palmieri netting a 1st. If he was healthy the last 2 years, he would’ve had better seasons then too. Especially 50%… that’s not bad!

Better off keeping Palmieri and not signing Blueger.

Ehlers-Horvat-Barzal
DeBrusk-Nelson-Palmieri
Lee-Cizikas-Engvall
Iskhakov-MacLean-Fasching

Would be a very very good forward group, especially in the top 6. I don't know a ton about Dillon, obviously a quality dman but can he skate? Moves the puck, stay at home, etc?

I think we should just sell high on Palms and replace him with Debrusk. Plus Zeeker looks better on the wing imo

It could be anywhere, I just think they need to move him and sell high since no way he repeats this season

I don't mind selling high on Palmieri but you can't retain if you did and you'd need to use that money wisely. Zeeker looks better on the wing because of his speed and he can cut inside but he's still a damn good center, for his role.

fait enough it'll probably help not having Martin and Cal on his wings, I think this teams needs to retool tho and selling high on Palms is the best option imo

I’m not saying I would accept this from Edmonton’s standpoint for sure, but I could see him repeating it if he was placed with a top 10 center like Draisaitl for example. I would have to weigh in our options first.. nonetheless, it’s a fair trade!

Have a good one!

Then you should be selling on Nelson too. Imo if the direction is selling high on guys and replacing them with younger quality players. Palms, Nelson, Pelech, Pulock should all be traded

True, but Nelson also has been better than Palms, been here longer, is an alternate so I don't seem him being traded. He was the first islander I ever saw score a goal live so I do have some bias with him. Still selling him wouldn't be that bad of an idea all things considered

Point is we need to retool and this offseason and next is the ideal time to do so
