LA got an amazing performance out of Rittich at a bargain $1M, Jarry is $5+M and on the decline. Add to this LA has the Pens old goaltending coach who was fired because Jarry was struggling under him.

And you want to add a 1st, LA declines with prejudice.

Let's assume for purposes of this discussion that Kaliyev = Puljujarvi. Rittich and our 2024 first for Jarry, the dart throw and $4 million of burdensome additional cap is idiotic for the Kings, who are cap-strapped as it is.

Smith doesn't do anything for Boston except impede them from re signing DeBrusk or finding someone better than both in FA. Like Gofnutt said, the 1st alone is plenty

Kaliyev for Puljujarvi is a pretty fair 1-for-1 swap I guess, although I'd rather just keep Kaliyev.

Pittsburgh has to add in a Rittich for Jarry swap, as Rittich put up better numbers at less than 20% of the cap hit.

Kings decline.
