Nothing like spending a first for an AHL goalie who makes 4.5m. Shirley, the Leafs can find a better goalie cheaper and better as a UFA,
I've seen quite a few of these Knight trades recently....not all to the Leafs. Don't understand them at all.

If he was like 1-2M maybe a team would take a shot, but 4.5M$ question mark is a big risk for a team like Toronto who is aiming to contend

Yea it sucks that Tre's signings of Bert and Domi and trades for Edmundson and Lyubushkin ended up being key players in the playoffs.

So key that they fixed none of the issues with the leafs, domi was a liability that cost them several games and disappeared for the elimination games, Bertuzzi forgot how to shoot and spent most of his time getting owned by marchand, lybushkin had to be spoon fed offensive zone time to look half useful and they lost to the worst team the leafs have played in the playoffs in years.
Key indeed

Yeah, it was rather bad. Worst leafs team in a long time. Pretty poor showing by a first year gm

Why do you keep bringing up old gms? Do you really have so little to defend your new boo?
If treliving knew how to identify tallent, maybe they'd have got some secondary scoring that wouldn't disappear the second matthews got hurt and sick snd they couldn't ride his coatails, or get some pk guys who could actually kill penalties so they didnt get ruined there for all the dumb penalties his 'key' forward additions took.

Wrong, It'll be easier and less painful to bang my head off a wall than try to hold a conversation with you and your tainted opinions which you believe are facts.

Here's a fact, 17 (actually 18 since Tre added Lyubushkin just like Dubas had) players who played in the playoffs for the Leafs were leftovers from Dubas.

So when you think you are knocking Tre's team, you are in fact knocking Dubas team.

Just cant help yourself bringing up dubas eh? Just excuse after excuse with no actual analysis of Treliving's additions past saying they were 'key'.
No wonder you're going to bed with talking points this sleepy

OTT would take that and run, and fans would be extremely happy lol.

Highly doubt they'd take another risk on one of our goalies though.
