Carolina easily matches that, and probably gets traded at the draft
The retention on Lee sucks but I do see us trading our 1st for a young foward U24

Carolina is matching that offer in a heart beat.

Pulock and Noah Dobson for Ehlers is more likely.

I am sure the Wild would want more for Rossi, conceptually interesting trade, but Minnesota doesn't have a lot of cap space.

Dobson eaisly has more value than Ehlers . Pulock for Ehlers is one of the hottest trades on here rn

Still believe Ehlers has more value the Pulock. And the fit is better for the Islanders than for Winnipeg. Still the Jets would a pick or decent forward prospect to sweeten the deal, like William Dufour

Who is the Jets #1 RD? Isn't it Poink, Pulock would be a massive upgrade plus Ehlers only has 1 yr left

I don't think Pulock is bad at all to be clear. I just think, the Jets are going to have an even bigger hole without Ehlers there. So they would need a forward coming back also, like Dufour to make Ehlers worth giving up. I know that Pulock coming back to Manitoba would be popular. But that's not the only factor at play.

Wild would move Rossi but for a similar player that may need a change of scenery who’s on the bigger side. I imagine it would need to be an up and coming center that’s like 6’2 and skates well. This prospect is 5’7 and I doubt they want to take on Lee despite him being a hometown boy

I wouldn’t do the trade, but calling the 18th pick a late 1st is not true.

I mean it’s like 3 picks aft the lottery. I mean late in sense of it’s not a good pick
