Could no NHL players be a good thing for Canucks? (Olympics)

I think Pettersson and Dahlen should make team Sweden, if NHL isn't allowed to participate. As well as Juolevi if he doesn't make the team. I'm not sure if Demko would be allowed though.

Could this be a good thing, as maybe the Swedish duo could light it up in the Olympics

I'd be happy to see the Sedins lead Dahlen & Petterson to gold... what's the worst that could happen? Give the top AHLers an NHL tryout and a better draft pick? win-win-win for player development
