It;s like Tavares, Holmberg, and Kampf are all trying to prove their worth. They are doing great for their respective teams in at Worlds.

Would feel bad for Domi if he gets left out, although I feel like the Leafs would regret signing him and Bertuzzi in 2-3 years.

That's the reason for them going over, but I'm talking about what's driving their strong performances. It's probably because they are channelling all those emotions from losing, but I was making a joke since 99%+ of Leaf ACGMs are trading Kampf, decent bit moving Tavares but I don't blame them for that really, and I've also seen some trade Holmberg as well or just not sign him. This is one of the few reasonable Leafs' ACGM with a couple of moves that make sense for the Leafs, and isn't trading away everyone who makes/is set to make 2-3M.

I wonder when are 4th liners (or bottom 6 players in general) going to be able to make more than 2M without being traded every off-season/trade deadline. General trend on here is that if a bottom 6 player isn't a bonafide 3C, he's likely getting traded.
