Greenway would fit but Buffalo still adds or gives 1st this year and a lower round pick. If Hronek is going to Buffalo my main target would be Kulich someone who could be a fit in the top six.

I'm not too sure of Hronek's value, he's been invisible for the second half of the season and the playoffs.
Even as a mainstay next to hughes he hasn't been producing at all and imo it would be a huge mistake for the nucks to pay him.
What do you think he's worth?

Kulich would be pretty cool to get, I thought the sabres and nucks would make good trade partners because of their excess of young wingers but I eventually landed on greenway
I also didn't want to get flamed for overvaluing Hronek, but I guess i went too far in the other direction lmao

It's an odd trade. The Sabres would be interested in Hronek since they have Dahlin, Byrum and Power, and I think the Canucks might be able to get more value out of him.

Probably similar to what we gave up for him. You could argue he’s worth more because he had a career year, but he does also needs a contract now

There's probably a deal that could be done that helps both teams here which is exactly why I assume neither side will broach the idea irl lol.

Pure speculation, I'd say b/c the Sabres are under so much pressure to be good next year theyll want someone they know is at minimum good defensively. And I'd guess that for the Canucks it's a hard sell to trade to for futures after a playoff run unless theres another move you can flip those futures for but that's far easier in theory than reality.

The Sabres top 4 is set. They made a trade for a dman at the deadline

If Hronek cannot be signed for a fair contract a top 6 F prospect has to be coming back & more.

I know what you meant by this, but the implication that I was unaware we traded for Byram at the deadline is kinda hilarious.

Nevertheless, theyre not going to run 4 leftys in the top 4 under lindy, and Jokiharju is done as a Sabre. I doubt its hronek, but bet the farm they add a d-man.

Im pretty sure there going to run 4 leftys, especially when Kevyn Adams said that Dahlin is better on his off hand and Power likes to play the right side too

Ruff cares about handedness. Dahlin will play the right side cause he is better there yeah. But Lindy put Severson on the third pair in game 1 of the playoffs last year after he had a career season to balance out pairs. There's not shot he runs 4 lefties.
