the compensation would be colorado's next 4 1st round picks. since you sign him for over 5 years you take the total value of the contract (8275000*7=57925000), then divide it by 5 to get $11,585,000. Compensation for 9.8+ million is 4 1st rounders

also thats a terrible idea casue nashville has a **** ton of cap room to sign him so they would match the offer, and if they didnt we would have our 1st round picks for 4 years while were rebuilding which would be a nightmare
