The Hawks decline, they already have enough bottom of the roster forwards so there is no need to pay for more.

If it’s Detroit, it will be a 2nd and a 8 through 12 prospect in their system.

We’ll see where he ends up.

Ok which prospects are 8 - 12? Are you using a specific ranking? Depending on who it is this might be a better deal.

Thinking specifically William Wallinder or Shai Buium with a 2nd round pick.

I highly doubt BOS wants to trade Ullmark in the division. That will come back to bite them.

I'd happily do Buium and a 2nd. But I'd rather give up Fabbri and Detroit's 2025 1st over Wallinder and a 2nd. But I really like Wallinder.

To me, Buium is a former 2nd rounder with ties to Denver and a very good fit in Montgomery’s system. Plus Montgomery and Carle’s working relationship probably gets him an inside look to Buium’s strengths and weaknesses.

He also fits Sweeney’s recent MO of picking players who didn’t go through traditional development cycles (something he did with Lohrei and Pelosi) with good upside skill.
