Bruins get some firepower

Created by: boothy424

Description
Zacha is a fine center, but he can't be the go to guy after Pasta. Get him another solid winger like Guentzel/Bertuzzi and that will open things up. I think Coyle/Zacha have enough defensive games, but we need more scoring. Adding playoff performers like Guentzel and Bert will help us big time. Debrusk is great but he will ask for too much and someone else will pay it.

Add a guy like Edmundson for some extra bite and stability on the blue line to allow Lohrei to move up and down the lineup when needed as he continues to grow.

I just don't like the idea of going with Coyle and Zacha as the top centers again. It worked fine in the regular season but became a glaring issue in the playoffs. Plus, Bert isn't a playoff performer. He hasn't been out of the 1st round in his career and he spurred the Bs last offseason.

Devils will personally drive to Boston and get him Deal. Question is, is the Devils on his 15 team no trade. But Devil fans how are we gonna get a top 6 making 6m like debrusk or ehlers if we get a goalie making 5m. Since everyone wants more FWD instead OF gritty Greasy big FWD.

We need a better center, Guentzel isn't a good fit in Boston imo. Elias Lindholm is a better target with his dual eligibility

Why does NJ need a top 6 forward.

Meier-Hughes-Mercer
Holtz-Hischier-Bratt

Sure I few guys had down years but Meier looked great at the end of the year, I doubt mercer replicates this season again and holtz took some steps in his game and seems like a lot of young forwards in the league have struggled to adjust to the NHL till around 21-22 I’d say give holtz 1 full season in the top 6 or atleast till the TDL before fully writing him off

NJ could still use a Top 6 forward
Holtz deserves a shot but he shouldn’t be their plan A

Maybe someone cheap like Duclair could be an option but I can’t see them spending a whole lot on a UFA just because of the potential holtz has
