Swap Hutch and Eyssimont and I could see it working better. More so their natural sides.

Additionally, LMFAO Monahan for 2 million. Good one man

one year deal, maybe he wants to increase his value for next year when most cap for forwards opens up(Marner, Tavares) and cap rises, he'd be a good 70-80 point guy on Tampa's L1 PP1

No thanks you can keep him

Jeannot is basically a dump move. His values dipped to where FC or pay to move his probs on the horizon

Cooper hates the guy or some thing, I'd play him on the first but he's def not FC leve, he's scored 30 goals before in a middle 6 role on a much worse NSH team

Cooper is a good judge of whose good and who isnt he won b2b cups for a reason. Brisbois screwed up trading for someone who had one good season where his shooting % was unsustainably high. Everyone know he overachieved and was gonna crash and he did

Also Jeannot never scored 30 goals. Most he had was 24

nah we just got baited by a really high S% and we're stuck with a dude who can fight really well and sometimes hits people which he's useful but he's not very good. If he could score 10 goals for us next season assuming he's still a Bolt, i'd change my tune and be more than happy to keep him but for now he's going down as Brisebois' worst trade by a significant margin

Is there any chance Cernak is available now that they brought back Mcdonagh?

That's pretty much it, dude got liquid hot and people got very excited about a guy who could score and bruise it up. Lots of em missed the red flags

prob not, JBB was talking about how McD solidified the top 4 of Sergy, Heddy, Cerny and McD so it sounds like thats his plan. He also thinks he will be able to resign stamkos so either cirelli is gone or both of sheary and jeannot are gone, or stammer takes close to league min

Eh, ppl.said.the same thing when Tampa traded for Hagel as well, in terms of the unsustainable shooting %. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. JBB's track record has been quite good overall, so one bad trade is what it is.

unfortunately. I love Jeannot's physicality when he's healthy I will say that but yeah man he really is a liability 9 out of 10 games

Yeah, move out Sheary, Jeannot, and Perbix, and there should be enough room for Stamkos plus a couple of low cost forwards. The McD addition ends any hope of signing an additional middle/top 6 F in the 3-4 range, but that may have been difficult to do and significantly upgrade the defense anyway.

Doesnt mean it wasnt risky as hell or that tampa didnt over pay at the time. Hagel was also mid breakout when he was traded not most of the season into the mother of all regressions like jeannott

Hes a decent 4th liner type all things considered, it was just a bad bet and a massive overpayment

100% agree. It happens. GMs make mistakes. That was a massive mistake from the get-go. Hopefully Brisebois has learned his lesson

Tampa's risks have mostly paid off quite well, so they'll take that trade off every time.
