  1. 2024 3rd round pick (BUF)
Additional Details:
Anywhere. I just picked Buffalo because it's close to his hometown and they could use a veteran presence in their lineup. I do not care if you guys think it's realistic, all I'm saying here is that he is worth a 2024 3rd round pick at 50% retained.
BUF
  1. Smith, Reilly ($2,500,000 retained)
2.
PIT
  1. Howden, Brett
Additional Details:
I really like Howden's game, and I think he can bring a lot to this Penguins team. I love Cotter too. Both players are super hard to play against. I chose Howden because I figured Vegas was going to try to dish off salary where they could. Cotter brings more of an offensive game to their team at a lower cap hit, which leads me to believe they might decide to keep him over Howden, despite Howden playing every game for them in the playoffs. All in all, either guy would work in this role.

Not gonna be back in Boston unless he takes a discount and fights for the 3rd D spot... my guess is it closer to $2.5M AAV

With Grz, around the $3M isnt bad, but I would only go 1 year, maybe 2.
I like the idea of Howden. Wonder if we retain on Smith and acquire Howden and a pick from VGK instead.

I just don't think Vegas is interested in Smith anymore.

Reilly Smith to the Sabres would not be a bad idea. The Sabres could benefit from a top six forward. Their third line should be an alternate second line with 2LWA, 2CA, and 2RWA. The Penguins could use draft picks, assets the Sabres could part with this offseason.

Grzelcyk = Krug

Don't want to touch that.

He's too small to play his own end and needs to be hidden in the Ozone. That's not the kind of player you want.

Looking at guys who signed last offseason - Graves, Dumo, Soucy, Cole - I'd say Grzelyck comes in around 3.5-4mil AAV
