But that offer is a HARD pass from SJ. Zetterlund is worth more to us than an unsigned b level college guy.

He'd also be great in the Sharks future. No way they do this, he's absolutely a guy they'll build around

I think you're underselling Howard, he's quite good

Think the Bolts get a better offer elsewhere. As a Preds fan, I’d offer Tomasino/Pars, Glass and a 2nd

That's a tempting offer. 🤔

I really like Zeddy but Howard intrigues me.

Warms the heart to hear you all say that. He still has big fans here in NJ.

I don't think Tampa would be selling for futures.

So a proven NHLer with higher ceiling in Zetterlund for an unproven NHLer in Howard? 🤣

Howard’s a fine prospect - but ideally he’d become what Zetterlund is developing into - a scoring winger. But Zetterlund has strength, grit, and compete. He works hard, and drives rushes often. He shoots the puck - which yes, is something important as many players dont. If Zetterlunds upward swing was even to slow a little - he’d still probably be a great middle 6 winger on a cup contender. If he can keep building on what he’s done and develop his game more - he’ll become a solid top 6 winger for a cup contender - which for the Sharks is the #1rw lol.

Zetterlund I think signs a long term extension soon.

Hmm that's fairly interesting as a B's fan, would be hard to say no, the only potential thing that would hold me back if I was GM was that Cirelli is a middle 6 center which the bruins already have a handful of with Coyle/Zacha/Poitras/Geekie/Frederic. I'd rather spend the money on someone who can play 1c (not someone who is a 1c, but someone who can do it for now), like Lindholm. The center market is bone dry though...

He certainly bounced back after last season. I was very much against him but have come around to like him. Still think he’s a 3rd line winger if this team is to be competitive

I imagine Pasta can make a few 2Cs look like 1Cs…at least in short term. If Broons move Ullmark, and don’t go Bobrovsky on Swayman, they could fit both Lindholm and Cirelli, put Zacha back on wing.

For Cirelli.
